This news update is for all our respected clients, but especially for those of you who have been involved with myself and “Tenerife Property World” over the past 25 years (including those involved when we briefly traded as Canary Island Property World) and for those of you who have dealt with us over the last twelve months, again as “Tenerife Property World”.
The Present The Canary Island property markets slowed somewhat during the past twelve months, mainly due to UK property stagnation and competition from “cheaper” property locations such as Florida, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, etc. (due to the Euros strength, weakness of the US Dollar and other currencies, etc). Do not despair! The market is already improving, as sensible investors (such as you) also realise the benefits of our wonderful climate and location – all within the EU! (That is the reason why I initiated this business, so many years ago). e.g. we are steadily re-selling on Jardines de San Miguel, where purchasers still find outstanding quality at very competitive prices and where vendors currently enjoy excellent returns on original investments. (Note: If you wish to sell-on any of these properties, please do contact us most urgently - we have numerous clients awaiting good locations at prices considerably more favourable than current valuation – so you enjoy a healthy profit!
The Future As many of you know, I have retired. It is my 60th. I have greatly enjoyed 25 years in the Canary Island estate agency business. It seemed appropriate to make the official announcement on May 10th, my youngest daughter’s birthday. The handover, to the new directors and management, is now complete. Myke is now in the chair (but won’t plug it in). I shall remain involved only as a consultant, for the offices and agencies in Tenerife, Fuerteventura, the other Canary Islands and the UK.
